I know that Skype has been around a long time, but Chuck and I are just now becoming Skypers. I will say that I have found it a bit difficult getting started but we have had 3 Skype conversations with some of the people that chose us as housesitters that were successful. It makes sense. Even though we are vetted through Trusted Housesitters, it is nice to put faces with names. It also gives both parties a chance to get to know each other. We have a Skype call scheduled Sunday with a couple that we will housesit for in June. Hopefully, during that call we will get to meet Jerry Springer, their dog. If you have not had the opportunity to Skype, it is a very useful tool when planning and scheduling potential assignments. Every time we Skype, we establish a meaningful relationship
and open the door for friends on FB.
